Q. ‘’Is it necessary to make an appointment’’
A. Appointments for the trying on of gowns are always preferred. Appointments are of course obligation free. Appointments ensure you are assisted by our trained consultants, they also prevent long waiting times. Evening and Saturdays appointments are important as we can get extremely busy.
Q. ‘’How long before my wedding date should I commence shopping for a gown?’’
A. It is best to prepared early. Selected gowns require up to 4 to 5 months, lead time for delivery into store. A further 8 weeks should be allowed for final fittings and having the gown at home, finished and ready for the big day 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. It is best to be making a decision on your gown 6 – 8 months prior to the wedding. To place a gown on order from our designers, we advise that you place an order with at least 4 to 5 months lead time. Sometimes ordering can take longer, especially during specific periods, such as Christmas. If you don't have as much time as 4 months, please don't panic, some gowns can be "rushed" although (some designers will incur an extra charge) or alternatively you can purchase off the rack.
Q. ‘’I anticipate toning up and will be losing some weight before the big day. What happens if I order a gown and then shed some kilo's?’’
A. Our staff are trained to evaluate these issues carefully and advise you accordingly. On some occasions it is appropriate to order the gown and follow the order with sizing at a later stage

Q. ‘’Do alterations cost extra?’’
A. Yes they do, and costs vary depending on the style of the gown, and the amount of work involved. We provide you with an obligation free quote before any work is carried out.
Q. ‘’What happens when I order my gown?’’
A. Once you have decided on your perfect gown, we require a 50% deposit to place your order. Then once the gown arrives in store we let you know! You then finalize the payment, and book in your first fitting, which usually takes place approximately 4-6 weeks before your wedding. At this fitting session you will need to bring in your shoes and underwear that you will be wearing on the day. You may need a few fittings so it is worth considering this on the lead up to the wedding day, as your diary can get quite hectic.
Q. ‘’Do dresses come in different colours?’’
A. Yes, depending on the gown!! Most gowns come in various colours, the most popular being ivory and white. Latest colour trends include Champagne, Pink, beige, latte and oyster. Materials can also vary, however this is not quite as prevalent amongst designers. You can also vary certain styles to suit your taste, so just ask if there's something you'd like to change!
Q. ‘’What sizes do you have to try on?’’
A. Our size range in store, ranges from size 8 to 28. However we can only carry each gown in one size.
Q. ‘’When do you receive new styles?’’
A. Generally designers release new lines twice a year. however we receive new gowns and suits throughout the year, so it's best to check in store or our website to see when new stock arrives!
